Shine a light on Community Safety

Background:

The Latrobe Health Assembly is focusing on a number of important community issues within the Latrobe Valley, including how safe our communities feel.

We have several interactive tools for you to feedback (below) which include:

  • A short survey regarding how safe you feel within your community
  • An interactive mapping tool will enable you to place a marker on areas where you think there is not enough street lighting to address safety
  • A general forum where you can tell us your thoughts and feelings on safety within the Latrobe Valley with as much or as little detail as you would like to provide.
    We ask that you:
    • do not include names of other people
    • only express the facts of the situation that you are aware of
    • stay on topic. Remember we are asking for information about times where you have felt unsafe, why you felt unsafe, any ideas you have to resolve the feeling of being unsafe

What we plan to do with the information:

The Latrobe Health Assembly works in partnership with several service delivery agencies within the Latrobe Valley to address community issues. The information we receive from the interactive tools below will assist us in developing projects in conjunction with the most appropriate agencies.
